Spanish Intent Statement

MFL (Languages): Learning a language opens children’s eyes to other cultures, builds confidence, and develops communication skills.

At St Chad’s RC Primary, we want every child to be an enthusiastic learner of Spanish, eager to achieve their very best and develop their God-given talents.

Through our Spanish curriculum, children will:

• Develop confidence and mastery in learning a new language.

• Explore the connection between language and identity.

• Gain a deeper understanding of other cultures and ways of life.

• Build awareness of themselves, others, and cultural differences.

Our curriculum is inclusive, engaging, and designed to inspire a lifelong interest in languages and global communication.
