At St Chad's RC Primary School, we strive to enable every child to achieve their god given talents as learners of Physical Education.  We empower them to nourish their bodies and physical health through our inspiring and varied curriculum. In order to do this we ensure children are provided with a high quality and engaging curriculum across a broad range of physical activities enabling them to extend their agility, balance and co-ordination, individually and with others. . We promote a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning, encouraging an open mind set to allow children to build resilience and face physical challenges.  Our school physical education lessons are aimed at building character including values such as fair play, respect for others, teamwork, winning with dignity and being gracious in defeat as well as develop core movement.  These are important skills that children can use to succeed throughout their lives.

The school works alongside City in The Community to deliver PE from Nursery to Year 6. We also participate in TeamMCR, which allows our children to compete in a variety of competitions that cater for all ages and abilities.
