Online Safety

🛡️ Online Safety

Welcome to our Internet Safety page! Here you’ll find tips, advice, and resources to help you stay safe online.

The internet is amazing for learning and keeping in touch with friends—but it’s important to stay safe.

👧 For Children

Stay SMART online:

  • S – Stay safe: Don’t share personal information.

  • M – Don’t meet up with strangers from the internet.

  • A – Accepting files or messages: Only accept from people you know.

  • R – Reliable information: Not everything online is true.

  • T – Tell someone: Speak to an adult if something worries you.

💡 Tip: Use apps and games safely. Check age ratings and privacy settings.

👨‍👩‍👧 For Parents

Four simple steps to keep children safe online:

  1. Talk regularly about online safety.

  2. Use safety tools on social media (like Facebook privacy settings).

  3. Consider parental controls on your home devices.

  4. Learn about devices using our Parents' Guide to Technology.
